The tour starts at Cheops Pyramid, known simply as the ‘Great Pyramid’, once the tallest structure in the world and the oldest and finest of the three pyramids, before exploring Kephren’s and Mykerinus’ Pyramids. You’ll also get the chance to enjoy a stunning panoramic view of all three pyramids and the Sphinx.

Half Day Citadel & Khan El Khalili

Constructed in 1183 A.D. by Salah El Din, the Citadel is one of Cairo’s most popular tourist destinations and recognisable landmarks. You’ll visit the different parts of the medieval Citadel including the stunning Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali, the highlight of the tour. From here the tour continues to the oldest bazaar in the world, for an unforgettable walk through the sounds and smells of the Khan El Khalili bazaar.

Half Day Memphis & Sakkara

During the 1st Dynasty, Memphis served as Egypt’s capital, after King Menes had united Upper and Lower Egypt. Visitors can see the famous Alabaster Sphinx and the magnificently carved statue of Ramses II. In Sakkara you will visit the immense necropolis of Memphis, which is the oldest ancient cemetery in Egypt, and the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, Egypt’s first pyramid, built in 268 BC.

The oldest part of Cairo has many fascinating Coptic churches and museums, including the Hanging Church – the Church of the Virgin Mary, the Ben Ezra Synagogue – the oldest in Egypt, and the remains of Babylon – a Roman fortress built for it’s strategic defensive position between Upper and Lower Egypt.
